Monroe County, Iowa - Conservation


Duties and Responsibilities


The goal of the Monroe County Conservation Board (MCCB) is to encourage awareness and enjoyment of our Natural Resources by providing a better understanding of our environment.

 

The MCCB provides the public with approximately 2000 acres, 35 county conservation managed areas, helping to conserve our natural resources, preserve scenic sites, and discover outdoor recreation opportunities in Monroe County.

An open board meeting is held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM at the Carmack Education Center.
