Description of duties:
This position will be under the supervision of the Conservation Director. Position will include but is not limited to custodial & caretaking responsibilities for park facilities, operation of equipment & vehicles, operation of power tools, public/community interaction, ex: cleaning park buildings & facilities, mowing, painting, brush cutting, invasive species removal, etc. Position with be approximately 29 hours per week April/May to approximately September/October. Employees must have effective communication skills. Previous conservation experience is a plus. Must be 18 years or older. Regular, reliable and prompt attendance required. Valid Iowa driver’s license. Complete tasks with limited to no supervision. Goal oriented. Positive attitude. Works effectively with others. Potential for rehire for future seasons.
