DEPUTY POSITION

Monroe County has an immediate opening for a part-time position in the Recorder’s Office.
Description of duties:
This position will be responsible for all duties that are required by the Monroe County Recorder’s office, including, but not limited to recording and indexing legal documents, issuing boat, snowmobile and ATV registrations, selling hunting and fishing licenses, and processing vital records and marriage applications, as well as daily interactions assisting customers.
Applicants must be very detail orientated, have excellent computer skills, be able to multi-task, possess a positive attitude, and great customer service skills. Previous Recorder’s office experience is not required, as we are willing to provide training to the right applicant.
This is a part-time position, up to 28 hours per week, with hourly wage based on qualifications.
This position is eligible for Iowa Public Employee Retirement System (IPERS) and 457 Retirement Investor Club (RIC).

PART-TIME HOMEMAKER
Monroe County Public Health has a part-time opening for an individual to care for clients in their homes, providing housekeeping, errands, snack preparation and light shopping. Average of 6-12 Hours per week and dependent on grant funding. IPERS. CNA/HCA certification is a plus but is not required. We will train the right applicant. Hourly salary of up to $15/hr dependent on experience of applicant. Applications available at our office or online at www.monroecoia.us.
