JOB TITLE: Office Staff/Deputy

This position is a full-time position and works under direct supervision of the Monroe County Treasurer. Applicant will be responsible for collecting property taxes, transferring vehicle titles, renewing vehicle registrations, issuing driver’s license and non-operator ID cards, processing various accounting procedures, helping customers with all types of transactions, along with various other general office duties

Description of duties:This position will be under the supervision of the Conservation Director.  Position will include but is not limited to operation of equipment & vehicles, operation of power tools, public/community interaction, ex: mowing, painting, brush cutting, etc.  Position with be approximately 29 hours per week April/May to approximately September/October. Employees must have effective communication skills. Previous conservation experience is a plus. Must be 18 years or older. Valid Iowa driver’s license. Complete tasks with limited to no supervision. Goal oriented. Positive attitude. Works effectively with others.  Potential for rehire for future seasons.
